A Pre-Wedding Shoot

with Lauren & Gavin

A very special seat within a castle…

I met up with Lauren & Gavin at the beautiful historic Warwick Castle. This isn’t just any castle, this is a castle with emotion and feelings, a castle filled with a lifetime of memories that will always be held within its walls.

I always ask my couples to choose where they would like their pre-wedding shoot to happen. Somewhere special, somewhere that has meaning for you as a couple.

Lauren and Gavin couldn’t have chosen anywhere more befitting. Warwick Castle means so much to both of them.

For Lauren it brings back childhood memories of lazy days and sunshine, fun & laughter with Grandparents.

For Gavin it was the perfect place to propose.

There is a special bench within the grounds, where they enjoy sitting together watching the world go by.

On a very special day in April last year Gavin proposed to Lauren, just as he did, the church bells of Warwick chimed midday to let the whole world know! It couldn’t have been any more perfect.

As I photographed them both laughing we walked over to their special bench not knowing where we were with time and once again the bells rang out. If that is not a sign that these two are perfect for each other, I don’t know what is.

There are many moments I could share about this magical couple who have the most warmth surrounding them, but I am going to save that for another day.

I cannot wait for their wedding day in May which will be celebrated in a magical Enchanted Woodland.

Here are a few of my favourites from our shoot.
