Charlotte and Phil love the outdoors and also an adventure. So it was no surprise when they packed up their camping gear ready for a fantastic weekend away with friends, ready to soak up the atmosphere of Glastonbury.

Unbeknown to Charlotte this wasn’t going to be a festival she would forget. It certainly wasn’t going to be just a wet tent and muddy boots she would be returning with, but also an engagement ring, as Phil had planned to surprise Charlotte with a proposal at the end of a great weekend.

He whisked her off for a long walk through the countryside to find their own quiet spot.

Away from the maddening crowd Phil popped the question. A surprised Charlotte didn’t quite understand what was going on at first, but soon it dawned on her, this is what she had been waiting for.

I was thrilled to be asked to photograph their wedding, as we got on like a house on fire straight away.

I am looking forward to their big day in the very near future and also what other surprises Phil may have in store.
